Emmy Whitney is the Client Experience Manager for Nick Ferbert’s wealth management practice at Baystate Financial. Emmy’s role on the team is to develop and manage our marketing and event plans and to provide a personalized and professional touch to all of our initiatives. Her client focused approach to events and outreach helps ensure we provide a meaningful experience for all clients as we build stronger relationships with each and every one of them. 

 

Emmy began her career in event planning soon after graduating from Boston College with a double major in communications and psychology and a minor in French. After six years of working at a premier event management company in Boston, she ventured out on her own and started EWhitney Events LLC. Now, with over fifteen years of experience in the special events industry, Emmy has planned, organized, and managed thousands of events, ranging from 20 to 10,000 attendees.  

 

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Emmy has been very active in the non-profit sector as well. She served for many years on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Boston and is a founding Board Member of Abaco Strong, a non-profit helping with relief efforts in the Bahamas following the devastation of Hurricane Dorian.

 

Emmy grew up in Concord, MA, and currently lives in Acton, MA, with her husband, Mark, daughter, Belle, and son, Dylan. When she is not busy planning, Emmy enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time at her family’s house on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
